| This first full day of the project was very intense, and very exciting. First thing in the morning we had a quest around the city where we had to stop at the points with the fences we were going to decorate. After lunch, we actually began working on the sketches for our group fences we decided to make a house that has four windows, typical for Spain, Korea, Serbia and Russia – the countries that our volunteers come from. Later we presented our group “iBrush” and our group motto “International brush – дайте только карандаш!”. So the workcamp officially began![size=9] 18 July NEREKHTA, the village of funny fences and the ornamental windows. Today was the first contact with drawing. Finally, there will be one house with the window typical for each country and with the garden. We didn’t forget the flags of our countries and the symbol of the organization, the IYC “Earth – the planet for people”. At night, after the dinner, all the people were dancing together. This was another good opportunity for the campleaders, kids and foreign volunteers to meet. Afterwards we had a walk around the city, near the Lenin park and climbed a small mountain to see a beautiful panoramic view. Rubén Reiriz Polo |
